When I was a little girl I would always have EARACHES and HEADACHES. My ears would ABSCESS and it would really hurt. My grandmother made this thing that went on my head and around my ears and made it feel better. It would even make my ears drain so they didn’t abscess and wouldn’t have to be lanced. She made it by heating a mixture in an iron skillet until it was hot. She then put it in a bag. I know other grandmothers make something similar with different things inside. We call ours an Indian Medicine Bag because my grandmother was half-Indian and this was the mixture she was taught to use. When we found out we could heat it in the microwave I started making them to sell. They are used for anything you would use a heating pad or cold pack for.
