Here you see a G scale train emerging from a tunnel, just part of this water garden railway built around an 11 ft. x 16 ft. Aquascape Ecosystem pond with 2 waterfalls and upper streams.
The G in G scale means garden, as introduced by the Lehmann Toy Company of Germany over 30 years ago. Despite the gauge, anything labeled G scale is compatible. The basic requirement of most G scale trains is a minimum radius of two feet, and hills less than 4% grade.
