After 30 years of using caulk for home and Business, I found:
1.) Every time I use caulk, I needed to find some type of tool to penetrate the caulk membrane.
2.) When there is caulk leftover, I needed to find a hand tool with which to seal it in order to use the caulk again. This might be a piece of wire, a nail, screw, dowel, or some similar hand tool.
3.) Unfortunately, when I go back to use the caulk, it has usually hardened. Whatever tool I used to seal the caulk, it got stuck and was difficult, if not impossible, to pull out of the neck (stem). Many times I end up throwing the tube away, wasting the leftover caulk or product.
