This extruder is our newest design ,and is a proven hot item in the extrusion industry. Don't let it's small size fool you. This is a full production machine and great for those compounds that can be greatly improved with a low barrel residence time. This model extrudes 4.1 lbs/hr. of compound @ 88.8RPM. It stands about four feet tall so your operators can't get lost between the lines. It works great by itself or it will make a great addition to an established line. This extruder looks similar to a Genca 1/2" taper, but with alot of improvements. If you have a Genca 1/2" and are having feed or rate problems with it or want to convert it to a 3/4" Low Flow we can do it. We even sell a kit so you can do it yourself. (WITH HARDLY ANY DOWN TIME.) Includes user friendy features. The operator station on top swings 90* to let the operator make changes to the process from either side of the line. If trouble comes into play the E-stop is located directly on top so it can be reached from 360* around the machine. We have added features on the extruder like a lined barrel, new one piece feedthroat, and bearing carrier that keeps the screw in T.I.R. at all times. No barrel crashing here.(IF YOU HAVE A 1/2" TAPER SCREW SYSTEM WE CAN ADD THIS TO YOUR UNIT AND ALLEVIATE THE PROBLEMS THE TAPER DESIGN IS KNOWN FOR.INCONSISTANT PRESSURE, BACKPUMPING OF COMPOUND, AND GAULDING OF SCREW & BARREL.)Just call if you have any questions. The machine's top is completely covered in diamond plate to give you a durable surface to place tooling, tools, etc...
