Over 40 photographs by Jerome Wexler, 7 in full color. This is the story of the step-by-step development of a Norway maple. The process begins when the winged fruit of the maple is rooted in the ground. It then produces buds, leaves, stems, slowly forming trunk and branches.

Published by William Morrow & Co., Inc., 1968. Ex-library with a pocket and stamp on front fly, stamp on back fly. HC/DJ covered in Mylar. Dust jacket has upper corner cut, but original price is on lower corner. Very good condition.
