Matsuri! Mochi pounding, taiko drummers, Valentine's koi-nobori, Obon dancers, Easter egg hunts, omikoshi, Jack-o-Lanterns, hinamatsuri, Turkey dinners and Christmas trees. These are images from our childhood - the sights, sounds and smells of japanese American festivals. We would like to share with you our culture, a bit of East and West. It is our way of saying "Irrashaimase" - Welcome to our homes and community!

Lovely coloring book style pictures are accompanied by descriptions in English, Japanese and Japanese characters. Someone gracefully started to color one picture, Valentines day, but only the little hearts and a couple of other small spots. Otherwise it is completely clean and very good condition.
