RATTRAP Harlem reconstruction basketball guitar
Rattrap
by Mary W. Sullivan
This is the story of a Black teen boy, who, with his friends, helps the neighborhood. He is torn between his love of music and of basketball. A series of events, involving a neighborhood politician, and a real estate developer, help him decide. It is set in Harlem. Artistic, enhanced photos are by Donald Armfield.
The book is published by Field Educational Publications, Inc., copyright 1970. It is a library bound hard back book, and is ex-library. It has library stamps on inside front cover, and inside back cover, marks from envelope and date sheet on inside back cover, and numbers on the spine. There is also a stain on the upper front cover, above the title, where something was written. This is visible in the scan. Otherwise the book is in very good condition, with no marks or tears inside, and a firm binding.
