Pair of large SATSUMA GEISHA GIRL VASES. - Here are two Satsuma vases, 15" tall, with pictures of giesha girls on one side and flowers on the other. The glaze has a fine crazing with age. They are from at least the early 1900s and possibly earlier. There are marks on the bottoms in Japanese characters, on one vase it is a single stroke, while on the other there are two ideographs.
