Amish Home Cooking with Elsa is a unique collection of Amish 20-year-old Elsa Miller. Though she considers these 500 her own favorites, she admits borrowing recipes from her mother and grandmother!
In Cooking with Elsa you can take a personal peek into her kitchen as she shares Amish wedding recipes, her mothers' pumpkin pie and her grandmothers' old fashioned dressing and gravy.

Amish Dressing (or Stuffing)
1 loaf of bread, cubed and toasted2 c. cooked and deboned diced chicken1 c. diced celery1/2 c. diced carrots2 c. chicken broth2 T. butter1 T. chicken base1/2 t. black pepper1 t. salt6 eggs, beaten5-6 c. milk1/2 t. seasoned salt
Mix all ingredients well. Fry in skillet. Can mix together and put in refrigerator overnight. Fry next day.
