A poem with an irregular rhyme scheme, so it doesn't sound like it rhymes. It tells how so many heroes go unnoticed because there is no newsman there to report their heroic deeds. It gives several examples: a young eighteen year old private who is writing what he knows will be his last letter on an island that only has the name X78, a mother who gets a letter telling her that all her sons have been killed in the war, etc... Extremely effective in making the audience appreciate every day heroes.
