Tells the story of a young mother and her daughter who move next door to a frail little girl named Tracy. Tracy has many physical problems, but she doesn't let that get her down. She's very imaginative, and enjoys playing with her new neighbor. There is very cute dialoge throughout, centering around Christmas time, and the girls playing "Mary and Joseph Going to Bethelehem." The girls discuss heaven, and what it is like, and Tracy shares her ideas about it. She believes that she was there before she was born, and that she was the only one able to ride on a golden eagle.
Later, she hemorrhages, and is sent to the hospital. From there she writes adorable letters to her friend, and tells her that she is sending a special surprise gift to her for Christmas. Tracy dies before Christmas, but her gift arrives -- the golden eagle. Very touching and tragic. Great for a female performer.
