Humorous Monologue

A mother, wearied with the nightly chore of making five lunches, nine months out of every year, decides that she has had enough. She gathers the necessary ingredients for 925 sandwiches and puts the children to work. Over the course of the year, the frozen sandwiches turn out to be a worse nightmare than anyone in the family could have suspected. Lots of fun with unique wording, adding to the humorous affect.
This reading has been used in upper elementary, Jr. High and High School competition and has done extremely well.
