Thoroughly clean your favorite vase and fill ¾ of the way with lukewarm water and contents of floral preservative package. 3. Partially fill your sink with lukewarm water. submerge the ends of the stems in water, and with a sharp knife or cutting shears, cut at least 1'' off the bottom of the stems on an angle. 4. Place all flowers in water immediately. Keep vase filled with fresh water and re-cut stems every other day. 5.
