Do not remove gebera straws from stems until flowers have hydrated (in water) for 24 hrs. You can remove the nets from the flowers heads immediately. 2. Thoroughly clean your favorite vase and fill ¾ of the way with lukewarm water and contents of floral preservative package. 3. Partially fill your sink with lukewarm water. Submerge the ends of the stems in water, and with a sharp knife or cutting shears, cut at least 1'' off the bottom of the stems on an angle. 4. Place gerbera in water immediately. Keep vase filled with fresh water. 5.
