The KEEPER OF NATURE!
I graduated from high school in 1955 and went on to college and became a Vocational Counselor. As far as health was concerned, I depended on my parents and the people of science. To fight the war on disease, the people of science developed the five food groups. They also developed an abundance of products from crude oil to fight the fight. Knowing our food and water doesn't provide adequate nutrition, science developed the One-A-Day vitamin. It was produced from crude oil with the claims that it would provide all the nutrition a person needs each day. It didn't work! We were also supplied with anti-biotics to kill every bacteria in our body. These chemicals kill both the good bacteria and the bad bacteria. Often losing the good bacteria creates more harm to the body than the bad bacteria causes. Science approved fertilizing our land with chemicals, spraying our crops with chemicals and they required adding chemicals to our food in order to protect us from the enemy - Disease.
To make a long story short, we've lost the war. The enemy is stronger and wider spread and it now costs the United States people over 1.6 Trillion dollars a year to fight a losing battle. One sad point: Of the 1.6 Trillion dollars, 90% is spent in the last 30 days of life. That's to late I would think. None is spent on health care. It all goes to helping the sick.
The American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and other major disease fighting groups have in the past two years begun to announce their most recent good science studies. They say: "The only thing that our studies have shown us that has any advocacy's in the prevention or the remission of disease is when the individual takes upon themselves the responsibility to drink a minimum of eight glasses of water a day, eat five to seven servings of fruits and vegetables, and get moderate exercise which every group defines as walking."
Recently, I heard where science analyzed a leaf of lettuce and found it had over 1,200 hundred elements and science only knows of 151 of those elements and how they react in our body when we eat lettuce. I wanted to know about the other elements science doesn't know about.
Let me pretend I went to the Keeper of Nature and asked the question: "What's the purpose of all those elements in lettuce?"
The Keeper of Nature replied: "Each element help keep the body healthy. Every element in an edible plant, nut or seed is important for the healthy maintenance of your body."
But, I said: "When will we know what they do?"
The reply: "The last element will be discovered in the year 2512."
"That's to late for me, what should I do now?" I asked.
"EAT PLENTY OF NATURE'S ORGANIC RAW FOODS AND LET NATURE TAKE CARE OF YOU," the Keeper of Nature said.
"Keeper of Nature," I asked: "Could you give me some simple reasons why people are so unhealthy?"
"Let me put it this way," the Keeper of Nature said: "People are not getting enough energy in their system for it to function properly. An example occurred in California recently (January 2001). The energy in parts of the state was insufficient to supply electricity to many of the homes and businesses. One large dairy was forced to dump thousands of gallons of fresh milk because it could not process what they already had. Milk cows must to be milked twice a day. Your body is the same. When you don't take in enough energy to process what you eat, your body must rely on its reserve supply of nutrition to produce the energy you need. Your body must continue to function whether you supply the proper nutrition or not. Like in the dairy, when you don't have enough energy the food goes straight through the body and is dumped."
"What activates the energy in our body? I asked.
"Hydrogen," the Keeper of Nature said: "You need free hydrogen ions to react with oxygen molecules and all the various nutrient molecules. Oxygen and nutrients cannot travel through the body by themselves. To feed the cells they can only travel when attached to hydrogen. Most food and water doesn't have enough free hydrogen ion in it to supply the body with sufficient nutrition. Your body is forced to draw from the body reserves. The reserves are stored mostly in the bones. Every year you need to draw more and more reserves causing the body to age and die before it was meant too. Food and water without an adequate supply of hydrogen ions also creates a breeding ground for harmful bacteria, germs, viruses, mold, yeast, and other harmful disease causing elements."
"Does the same apply to cooked foods and animal products like milk, beef, chicken, etc.?" I asked.
The Keeper of Nature replied: "Foods cooked and processed have practicality no hydrogen ions. They are without enzymes necessary to digest the food so the body must call upon its reserve of protein enzymes to breakdown and digest the food. Very little nutrient can be recovered from cooked or processed foods so most of it is dumped out as waste. The body has again drawn upon its reserves for the nutrients needed to function. Once a reserve is used in the body it is used up. It is gone forever and without replacements, the body is slowly depleted of its reserves. "
"Our science experts and our government officials tell us foods and nutrients approved by them are good for us. I thought animal products supplied us with a lot of protein and other nutrients. If animal food actually harms us, should we quit eating animal products?" I asked.
"My answer is yes," the Keeper of Nature said: "What some science experts and your government officials are saying is: Foods and nutrients that are stable are good for you,"
"What does stable mean?" I asked.
"It means there is no life force in your foods or nutrients approved by them. They are dead. Your body cannot recognize and use dead food. Let's say you eat cooked beef. When it gets to the stomach the stomach calls to the brain and asks what it should do. The Brain replies: 'Get some protein enzymes from the reserves and break down the dead beef so it can be dumped out through the intestines. A warning light just went off. The beef has chunks of e-coli attached to it. Alert the Fighting Cells to eliminate the e-coli.' The Fighting Cell Commander replies: 'My forces are almost wiped out. We had to fight off a virus found in some dead chicken parts yesterday. Call out the reserves.' Time goes by and the brain wonders where the reserves are so he calls to the Reserve Commander. The Reserve Commander reports: "We have very little energy so we are walking and the roads are clogged with plaque so bad it's hard to get through. The Brain answers: 'Don't hurry, an antacid has just entered the stomach and all your troops will be blocked from fighting.' Foods high in acid helps create a body terrain that invites and nurtures disease causing pests like germs and viruses, to name a few."
"Do you mean it is better to have an alkaline body terrain? I asked.
"Yes," the Keeper of Nature said: " Foods and water high in alkaline also have a high level of hydrogen ions. An alkaline body terrain does not allow disease-causing element to live in the body. People who have adequate hydrogen ions in their diet live without disease. There are people in the World living to be over 120 years and they are free of disease. They continue to work and care for themselves and they enjoy life.
The Keeper of Nature went on and told how cattle are being slaughtered and it was all I could do to keep from getting sick. The Keeper of Nature said: "I am sickened when I observe people raising animals in horrendous conditions and then slaughtering them in the most horrible way. Why just today there was an article about the horrible way cattle are slaughtered. Here's what happened! Animals are being processed while conscious. Video and testimonies of workers show slaughterhouses are unlawfully 'torturing' cattle. Some slaughterhouse operators are violating federal law by failing to properly knock out animals before they are put on assembly lines for processing, surveys by veterinarians and animal-welfare groups say. (The government allows the industry to police itself).
"In one graphic video released by a California group, live and thrashing cattle are shown chained upside down on a Washington State meat-processing line after they were supposed to have been rendered unconscious. One prone cow is shown being prodded in the mouth with an electric wand while being held in a chute.
"Affidavits by workers claim that from 10 percent to 30 percent of the animals in that plant have been processed while conscious. Meanwhile, a 1996 survey by the U.S. Department of Agriculture showed barely 36 percent of 11 large slaughterhouses nationwide were using 'acceptable' slaughter techniques.
"Bradley Miller, national director of the Humane Farming Association of San Rafael, Calif., said the video taken a year ago at the giant IBP plant at Wallula, Wash., was the first filmed evidence obtained, in addition to written documentation in other cases, in showing what the group contends is unethical treatment of animals at meat-processing plants nationwide. IBP is the world's largest meat processor.
"Federal laws require animals to be unconscious when they are processed at slaughterhouses.
"We caught them red-handed here,' Miller said.
"Miller said his organization is trying to focus attention on more humane treatment of farm animals but is not opposed to eating meat. 'We recognize slaughter for food, but not subject to torture,' he said.
"Federal meat inspectors, who are charged with monitoring slaughterhouses for unethical activities, are supporting the complaint by the animal-welfare activists.
"Arthur Hughes, vice chairman of the National Council of Food Inspection Locals, a union of 6,000 federal meat inspectors associated with the American Federation of Government Employees, said new federal regulations giving slaughterhouses more responsibility over plant operations have left the inspectors powerless to enforce existing laws. Lack of cooperation from plant supervisors was among the issues he cited.
"The American Meat Institute is convening a meeting with federal officials and slaughter experts this week in Kansas City, Mo., to discuss humane slaughtering and other animal-rights issues.
"The public is demanding good, humane handling, which they have a right to demand,' said Janet Riley, the institute's vice president."
I guess my response to what you've reported Keeper of Nature is taken from the Bible. Of course you would know what I'm going to say. In the King James Version of the Bible (Genesis I: 29,30), the word meat translates to mean your food. "Behold, I have given you every herb-bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat (food)." From the same Bible, its Dictionary defines meat as: "It does not appear that the word 'meat' is used in the Old and New Testament, in the sense of animal food. The latter is denoted uniformly by "flesh."
The Keeper of Nature said: "Humans were given the charge of protecting and caring for animals and were never meant to slaughter and eat them. Most all disease can be traced back to eating animal products and flesh. Before humans began eating flesh from animals the only disease came from trauma and old age."
