A Dude Ranch for Physically Callenged Children

"On Higher Ground Foundation" where physcially callenged children will come to spend from one to four weeks at a time, experiencing how life was in the old west receives a large portion of the proceeds from, A Moment In Time.

Each item you purchase will not only bring smiles to your face, but to the faces of countless young people as they experience the wonder and beauty awarded them through, "On Higher Ground Foundation and Dude Ranch".

They will accomplish both learning how to ride and care for a horse along with the care of all farm animals. They will have the opportunity to grow and harvest gardens, collect chicken eggs as well as learn how to milk a cow.

The goal of "On Higher Ground" is to teach each child they are an important part of society, building confidence and self worth. Bringing joy, laughter, happiness and love into the hearts and lives of children, while gaining through the physcial therapy riding a horse can offer. Showing each child reguardless of race, creed, color, sex, or handicap they are not only loved by all at the ranch, but are valued human beings, without their participation in life we are all losing something

Placing Children with animals, and the education, the caring for, and loving of, these animals has been proven to be "just the pill the doctor ordered." Studies have shown that through this special relationship children and adults alike experience peace, a sense of pride within themselves, confidence and value. Wheelchair bound will not stop the growth, contribution and love each of these special children has to give to the life of the ranch and to the world as a whole.
