Pregnenolone is produced from cholesterol and is the "mother hormone" of all steroid hormones in the body. Pregnenolone acts as a precursor to our essential steroid hormones such as DHEA, Testosterone, Estrogen, Glucocorticoids, Mineralocorticoids and therefore an ample supply is critical.
