ULTRAFIBER

UltraFiber is a low allergy potential fiber drink mix designed to support normal bowel function, with one serving providing approximately 88% insoluble and 12% soluble dietary fiber. UltraFiber is formulated from cereal grain and vegetable and fruit sources, providing the benefits of dietary fiber without the more allergenic or hypersensitizing fibers such as psyllium or wheat.

An important function of insoluble fiber is its role in increasing fecal bulk Over-processing of insoluble fiber may reduce its fecal bulking capacity. The insoluble fiber sources in UltraFiber have not undergone extensive milling and, therefore, may contribute a slightly gritty mouth feel.

UltraFiber may also assist in re-balancing intestinal microflora, and may help normalize short-chain fatty acid production. UltraFiber is naturally rich in tocotrienols-antioxidants that are part of the vitamin E family and help to support healthy blood lipid levels. UltraFiber may be used as a dietary fiber supplement with any of the UltraBalance spectrum of products.
