Kubota's New BX Series 4- wheel drive Sub-Compact Tractors are the first in a new class of tractors to combine the strength, performance and versatility of a compact utility tractor with the agility, feel and functionality of a garden tractor. Packed full of big tractor features, the BX Series is designed to out-perform the competition.

Powered by Kubota's 18 or 22 hp, 3-cylinder indirect injected, liquid cooled diesel engine, the BX1800 produces 13.7 PTO hp and the BX2200 produces 16.7 PTO hp. These high torque rise engines simply out-perform the competition in heavy duty applications like mowing long thick grass.

Both models are assembled on a heavy duty 3/8 inch full-length welded steel frame providing a strong foundation. The two speed hydrostatic transmission allows you to choose the best speed for the job, handling a variety of different applications with ease. The hydrostatic power steering takes the strain out of maneuvering swiftly in and around obstacles with ease. The category I, three point hitch and 540 rpm rear PTO allows you to hook up to most category one implements just like the larger compact utility tractors. The 2500 rpm mid-PTO system powers both mid and front quick hitch implements via a drive shaft, increasing the BX versatility. With a simple shift of a lever the Independent Hydraulic PTO clutch smoothly engages the PTO driven implements allowing you to complete the task at hand.

The Cast Iron front axle and bevel gear four wheel drive system allow the BX to be used as a small compact loader tractor with impressive power, capacity and versatility.
