Kubota MX5000F / MX5000DT Utility Tractors
The MX5000 Utility Tractors carry forth the impressive design, appearance, and single piece tilt up hood as found in the larger M-Series Utility Tractors.
Kubota's MX-Series Utility Tractors are designed with an emphasis on general utility applications, as well as task handling AG chores on the farm. The MX Series is new for 2002; it's larger than the Grand L-Series, but slightly smaller than the M4900 offering a unique size. The MX introduces a new economy of scale to its price tag while enjoying many deluxe features found on larger more deluxe tractors that make the MX a joy to own and operate.
The MX5000 has 50 net engine horsepower with 44 PTO horsepower, it is available in 2wd and 4wd, and is equipped with a foldable ROPS and retractable seatbelt as standard equipment. Kubota's E-TVCS four cylinder diesel engine provides a smooth transfer of power, low noise and quick starts. The engines dual balancers maintain a level of smooth operation that is uncommon in four cylinder engines; it's the smoothest running in the industry.
Travel speeds are easily selected within 8 forward and 4 reverse speeds. The main four speed is partially synchronized, meaning 3rd and 4th gears can be shifted on the go, clutch, shift and go. For an additional travel benefit, you can shift from 2nd, to 3rd and then to 4th on the go. Or if in high range, 6th, 7th and into 8th. While pulling a load in 8th and a downshift is required for a hill, clutch and downshift into 7th, it's that easy.
Direction changes are easily made with the range shuttle lever that is located to the left side of the seat. High, Low and Reverse are grouped together for easy selection. Just stop, shift and go. Reverse speeds are slightly faster than forward speeds to enhance direction changes within the four reverse speeds. The faster reverse speeds are especially helpful during loader operation.
Included in the MX5000 is a deluxe Category I and II three point hitch. Extendible lower link ends, quick adjust stabilizers and right crank link are all standard equipment. The deluxe hitch makes hooking up to implements much easier, and provides over 2300 lbs. of lift capacity 24 inches behind the lift points.
For loader applications, there are two "Performance Matched" Kubota loaders for the MX5000. The LB702 basic loader provides an affordable price, but still provides Kubota's renowned reputation for fast cycle times and dual function operation by use of a Series type control valve. For heavier duty applications, bale or pallet fork handling, the LA852-1 heavy duty loader offers increased lift capacity, and four bar linkage for greater dump and rollback angles. The Series valve provides unmatched cycle times with dual function operation that makes the LA852-1 loader a real task handler.
