The M4900, 45 PTO HP ROPS models have a basic as well as a deluxe model, in 2wd or 4wd. The M4900SU/SUD basic models set new standards for a basic 45 PTO HP utility tractor by incorporating many deluxe features. Like the smooth five cylinder diesel engine, synchro-shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse speeds, a partially synchronized main transmission and to top it off a Live-Hydraulic Independent 540rpm PTO.

The M4900S/SD/SDC1 deluxe models are also available in 2wd, or 4wd models with ROPS, or the environmentally enclosed factory ROPS certified Kubota Cab. These models are equipped with the synchro-shuttle transmission that has 8 forward and 8 reverse speeds. The main transmission has fully synchronized 1st - 4th gears for non stop travel.
The higher horsepower deluxe M5700 offers a synchro-shuttle 2wd model, or a 4wd model with the choice of Synchro-shuttle or hydraulic shuttle transmission. The Hydraulic shuttle provides wet clutch performance, with clutch-less operation to change directions. The Hydraulic Shuttle feature is appreciated for heavy loader work, that would normally require constant clutching, now eliminated.

These Utility tractors are equipped with Kubota's E-TVCS engines to optimize the total balance of power, low noise, minimal vibration and quick-starts. The "E" in E-TVCS stands for Emissions, clean Emissions, in other words environmentally friendly operation.

For Operator comfort, the M-Series has a fully ISO-mounted platform, suspension seat with armrests (on deluxe models) and hanging-type pedals for extra legroom. Servicing your M-Series tractor is easy with a one-piece tilt-up hood. Foldable ROPS with retractable seatbelt is standard on deluxe models, and optional on the basic SU/SUD models.
