Merchant Account Restrictions/Requirements

  • Every client can apply for a Virtual Terminal for no additional cost. The virtual terminal allows merchants to process credit cards from orders taken face-to-face or over the telephone and allows the customer to process refunds. This program is added at no additional charge. All that is required is that a request be submitted in writing by the merchant, and that the Merchant Account is approved by our affiliate.


  • The real-time processing system processes credit cards in 7 seconds or less. The customer activates the transaction. After going through the shopping cart and completing the required information the customer will receive a message within 7 seconds confirming the transaction went through. The merchant is also notified of the transaction and order by e-mail, and within 48 hours the money from that transaction will be transferred into the merchant’s business checking account.


  • All online accounts are required to use a Depository Checking account established for the merchant at First Regional Bank, Agoura Hills CA – FDIC Insured. This account is opened in the name of the merchant. The customer then uses checks issued to this account to transfer money to their local business account. This account is free.


  • The following is a list of businesses that our affiiliate will not establish a merchant account for:
    • Porn sites or web sites with sexually oriented products or services.

    • Gaming/Gambling

    • Any Future Service (fulfillment of product or service after 30 days)

    • Anyone outside the US.

  • The following is a list of business that are considered “high risk” and approved on a case-by-case basis only: (This list can be can be updated at any time.)
    • Cellular Phones / Pagers

    • Long distance calling cards

    • Magazine Subscriptions

    • Computer Services / Parts


  • Approval and acceptance of all applications are subject to approval by our affiliate’s underwriting department. Approvals are based on the customers Credit History and Type of Business. An account cannot be opened for anyone currently in a bankruptcy. If there has been a bankruptcy in the past 10 years – a copy of the discharge papers will be required.
