Updating Your Site Keeping the information on your site current and accurate is important because it lends credibility to your company's image and it keeps visitors coming back to see what's new. So even after your web site is out there, you're still not through. Someone must make corrections, additions, or deletions to the site. You may want to learn to do this yourself, or you may want to hire an outside contractor to make the changes. This is one of the services we offer (go to our Web site Packages page). Responding to E-Mail Your e-mail is an extension of your Customer Service online, so you want to give it top priority. If possible all e-mail should be answered within 24 hours. If the volume is too great, you may need to hire some to do this. But if you keep track of the type of information requested or the kinds of questions most commonly asked, you may find that you are able to provide this information on your web site, and reduce the amount of e-mail. Your may also want to consider an auto-responder that would acknowledge the visitor's request or order, and let them know that you will get back to them with the requested information in 1 or 2 days. Timeliness is an issue. You want to present a good impression of your company. No one likes to feel they are being ignored.
E-mail is also an excellent way to find out about your potential customer and
keep in touch with them, maybe even notifying them when you offer new products. Please contact us with any questions or comments. [ Services We Offer ] [ Search Products ] [ Home ] [ About Us ] [ Cyberspace Terms ] [ Starting a New Business ] [ Getting Started Online ] |
