 Almost synonymous with American Indian music is the rawhide drum, and we offer the finest available today. These are genuine Taos Drums, made from wood native to Northern New Mexico (cottonwood, aspen or pine) and hand processed natural rawhide that is stretched and secured with rawhide lacing, an art passed down through generations. Sizes are approximate and a drumstick is included with each drum. These Sioux style drums are shallow hand drums built from a bent wood frame with two heads and rawhide handles. See E above.
