 Almost synonymous with American Indian music is the rawhide drum, and we offer the finest available today. These are genuine Taos Drums, made from wood native to Northern New Mexico (cottonwood, aspen or pine) and hand processed natural rawhide that is stretched and secured with rawhide lacing, an art passed down through generations. Sizes are approximate and a drumstick is included with each drum. Made with a sturdy plywood steam-bent frame, these drums are fairly light weight for their size and have an excellent tone.
