This ActiveX control provides Microsoft Outlook mail, personal information management and collaboration services to client applications.

Summary of features:
- 32 bit ActiveX DLL, usable with any software that supports an ActiveX interface.
- Integrates Outlook mail, appointments, contacts and tasks with your application.
- Create new items and display/retrieve/modify existing items in Outlook folders.
- Return a filtered set of items in a collection object for further processing.
- Display Outlook folders in an Explorer with options to set the view and add/remove interface elements.
- Display the MAPI Address Book and Browse for Folder dialogs.
- Supports Exchange Server (if present) and extends the above functionality to shared mailboxes.
- Sample Approach application with context sensitive help is included in the package.
- Comprehensive online documentation with full-text search capability.

System Requirements:
- Works with Approach 97 or later. Runs under Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP.
- Requires Microsoft Outlook 98 or 2000, or newer version.
- Collaboration Data Objects. Included in a default install of Outlook 98 but must be selected during a custom install of Outlook 2000.
- Administrator rights are needed to run the installation program on Windows NT4, 2000 and XP.

Licensing:
- This is a Northwind IT Systems licenced product distributed through XpertSS.
- Unlimited redistribution, royalty free, as part of applications you develop.

Support:
The author of this product, Paul Bent, passed away in April 2004, and the source code for this product has not yet been made available to XpertSS.com. At this time, there are currently no plans for new features or bug fixes. Support will be offered on a best-efforts basis by Sue Sloan and other users of the product by responding to questions posted on XpertSS.com in the XpertSS Product Support discussion area.
