Linda Werlein, Von Asgard's owner & 'K-9 Spec Ops' (Advanced, Custom, and Competition) Training Consultant with one of the dogs that she bred, trained, handled and titled/certified: Arrk von Asgard, SchH III, BH, CGC, UDC - N.A. SchH Championship V.Sgr., ARV - Schutzhund Protection Tournament Champion - 99 Points, (twice) AWDF - Breed Team Championship SchH III Dobermann, '95 - 4th. highest scoring SchH III Dobermann in North America, Patrol Duty K-9 Cert. (SDA), ASP - Working Security K-9. This great dog is but one of the many working dogs that she has developed into exceptional performers. Linda is also accomplished in Schutzhund, Personal Protection Dog, KNPV, French/Belgian/Mondio Ring, Police K-9, & Military Work Dog development. Linda is the National Director of Service Dog Association. She an evaluator fpr the Patrol Duty K-9 Certification and is also a Certified Master (K-9 Detection Team)Trainer. Her proven experience in high-level obedence training, bitesuit & hidden-sleeve manwork, specialized detection work & exacting man-tracking spans 30 years.




Cedrik Merlet, Von Asgard's 'K-9 Spec Ops' Advanced Training Specialist, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. He spent eight years in the French Special Forces as a War Dog supervisor, trainer and handler. Cedrik logged active duty as a Military Dog Handler in the Balkans, Middle East, South America, and Africa. His vast experience as a Military Work Dog, Police K-9 Trainer & Working Dog Decoy is now available at Von Asgard K-9 Center. In Europe, Cedrik also has proven credentials as a competitor, trainer & decoy in the most demanding of the K-9 Euro-Sports: KNPV (PH-1 & PH-2) and Belgian/French/Mondio Ring. He is a certified decoy for KNPV, Belgian/French/Mondio Ring, as well as, Service Dog Association. His Police K-9, Detection (explosives, narcotics and specified oders) & Search and Rescue Training Seminars have been exceptionally well received here in the U.S.




Jeremiah Comes, Von Asgard's Advanced 'K-9 Spec Ops' Training Specialist also brings over 10 years of training experience with proven results. Jeremiah is proficient with advanced obedience, tracking & behavior modification. Although, he shines in protection development; especially bitesuit and hidden sleeve work, Jeremiah's real speciality is Detection Work. He has an excellent reputation of as a trainer and certifier of Detection K-9 Teams & as an experienced certifier of Detection K-9 Team Trainers.




F. Scott Vega is a valued member of Von Asgard K-9 Center's mamagement team, as well as, a key member of the "K-9 Spec Ops" custom training contingent. Scott is a veteran Florida Highway Patrol Officer and Police K-9 Handler. He has proven "Street" credentials, as well as, vast experience in K-9 Detection Team Training. Scott's is also very proficient in training K-9 Teams for the Patrol Duty K-9 Team Certification, as well as, in K-9 Tatical Training.




Frank C. Reeves is a 25 year Schutzhund veteran track layer, obedience trainer, and decoy with experience in regional and national championships. He specializes in young dog development in both competition tracking and protection. His German Shepherd Dog was the 2003 SEKG (Southeast Region) DVG FH Tracking Champion. Instrumental in the development of numerous sport dog champions, Frank is also a Certified Detection Dog Handler and a professional member of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals).

DIRECTIONS: Please call 941-322-0705 to make an appointment before you come. We are about 17 minutes east of I-75 on State Road 70. The easy way to locate Von Asgard K-9 Center, when you exit I-75 at Exit #217 EAST, is to note the odometer mileage and add 18 miles to that figure. Then leisurely drive EAST on State Road 70 until you reach that 18 mile mark. Then look down the road on the left hand (north) side for the six large 4' x 6', international flags flying along the roadway . . .

CUSTOM IMPORTING: Here is an exceptional 8 week old black & rust femele Dobermann pup with an outstanding proven working bloodline that we imported from Germany for a discrening client. At our clients request, an ear trim and tail docking was done at our Vet's office immediately upon the pups arrival here in the US.
