Sell Products, Crafts, or Services on Consignment

Our Consignment Program works just exactly like ones at your local shops......only different.

First we do NOT ask you for money in any shape, fashion or form.

As my son and partner, Zac, says, get ooonnnn with "the deal". So "the deal" is simply that you set the price you'll sell products to us. We add a modest markup. If you sell to us at "wholesale", then we'll let you set the retail price.

We also ask that you send us picture (or e-mail us a JPEG) of each product or craft you let us exhibit, any pertinant details you want in it's description (like dimensions, weight, material, etc.), and any stories you have relating to that product or craft so we can post the story with the item.

Under the "LIST of Attic TREASURES" Screen, we'll either place the item in its appropriate category, or we'll add a category of your chosing, so potential customers will have an easier time finding your products.

Each product you allow us to exhibit will have its own page in that category.

Once we exhibit your products, you have complete say-so to any modifications you'd like made to their page in our store (After all, it's your name associated with the them, you should have control over how it's used). This, of course, is within the bounds of being legal, moral, ethical and tasteful (by Appalachian standards).

If you decide on any change about your product that affects us (such as price to us, discontinue providing it, etc.) you agree to give us a ten (10) day written notice (10 days from the postmark or e-mail send date)

We reserve the right to discontinue selling your products, crafts or services at any time. But that would probably only occur if you failed to provide SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, failed to provide the product you promised, or if your items were not legal, moral, ethical or tasteful (by Appalachian standards).

NO ADULT, GET-RICH-QUICK, or SCAM SITES, PRODUCTS or SERVICES ALLOWED !!

When an order for one of your products comes in, we write you a check for the amount you agreed to let us pay for it and send you the payment, plus the customer's address.

You give us an approximate shipping date and we'll e-mail the customer with the information.

When the product is ready to ship, you ship it to the customer. Obviously, any warranty on your product, craft or service would be between you and the customer.

Or, if you prefer, you can send it to us and we'll mail it ourselves.

Or, if you have any other way you'd like to work this "deal", just let us know.

We'd really like to add your products, crafts or services to our online store.

While I think you'd see an increase in business, I don't think you'd be inundated with more orders than you could handle. Or so many orders that you would have to decrease quality.

If you're interested or have any questions at all, please feel free to e-mail us at Your Grandmother's Attic . Please put "Consignment" in the Subject.

We hope the site will meet your requirements and you feel good about letting us let others share your fine work.

Please enjoy your visit to Your Grandmother's Attic . We welcome any comments, suggestions or contributions you may have.

Sincerely,
Zac Hammett and David Hammett
